25 NEW GRADUATES OF HUBBARD-BASED BUSINESS PROGRAMMES AT FLASH ACADEMY

MUIZENBERG, CAPE TOWN - Flash Business Academy, an educational initiative attached to the South African lighting giant Flash Components, proudly celebrates the successful graduation of 25 new learners who have completed their Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) accredited Skills Programmes. Carried out over an intensive three-month period, this milestone marks a significant achievement in personal and professional development for the graduates.

Flash Business Academy operates under the leadership of its owners, Yaron Schapiro, Jessica Schapiro, and Danny Mirlas, who are active members of WISE, a business membership organization using L. Ron Hubbard’s practical business tools. The academy's curriculum utilizes Hubbard College of Administration course materials.

Because these programmes are credit-bearing and aligned with the South African National Qualifications Framework (NQF), graduates earn formal, legally recognised learning credits, which accumulate toward ongoing higher education and long-term career advancement.

The learners successfully completed two strategically designed tracks equipping them with practical tools for corporate environments and the entrepreneurial sector:

  1. Conflict Management – NQF Level 5
  2. New Venture Creation – NQF Level

The graduation ceremony featured joyous moments from the graduates as they reflected on their learning journey.

"Knowledge is our greatest competitive advantage. Let's promise to never stop learning, never stop growing, and never stop studying," said one of the graduates, encouraging his peers to keep learning.
Another graduate highlighted the support provided during the program: "I'm incredibly grateful to our company for investing in its people and creating opportunities like this. Not every workplace gives you the chance to develop yourself while still doing your job - and I think that is something worth recognising and appreciating."

Demonstrating exceptional commitment, all 25 learners successfully passed their respective tracks.

"By using the Hubbard Management System, our goal is to give people practical tools that increase their productivity and set them up for long-term success. We are very proud of our 25 learners for their hard work. We can't wait to see them take these new skills into the workplace and use them to make a real difference in their environment.” Said Yaron Schapiro, CEO and co-owner of Flash Components.

By combining practical, real-world knowledge and QCTO alignment, Flash Business Academy continues to bridge the skills gap.
